To me there is a lot more to being a Financial Advisor than investments. It is my privilege to also help folks with income replacement strategies, social security decisions and pension maximization. It has been my experience that no plan is complete unless we have protections set in place, to make sure unexpected health/life events can be successfully navigated. I call this "Protecting our wealth from our health". Lastly, working with CPAs and Attorneys to make sure everything is done in the most tax efficient, and easily transferable way possible. There is nothing worse than not being able to grieve the loss of a loved one due to dealing with unattended matters.
To accomplish this, I enjoy sitting down with individuals to gain a clear understanding of where you want to be, where you are today, and develop a plan to reach your financial dreams. We have all heard “the only thing constant is change”. This is why it is important for me to understand the changes in the lives of those I work with. Some examples have been changes in family, work or market conditions. Many folks in the financial services industry will try to impress you with how much they know. I pride myself on common language, and my clients walking away with a greater understanding of their personal situation. Whether this be knowing the exact investments they own and why, how their investments relate to what they hear in the news, or a simple walk back through history to learn why certain events may trigger investments to work in patterns.
I have spent nearly a decade developing strategies that have been proven to work for a wide spectrum of people. I've had success partnering with people who are close to retirement, usually within ten years, have recently retired, have gone through a major marital change such as divorce or becoming a widow, as well as business owners of various sizes.
On a personal note, I have lived in The Valley in Greenfield, MA for most of my life. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2014, and soon after in 2015 I started my career with Edward Jones. In August of 2023 I am proud to state I made a move to Osaic and Wealth MRG to continue my career with a firm better suited to my values. I'm not all work of course. Outside of advising, I enjoy hockey, comedy, cooking, trips to the gym, weekends in Rye NH, and of course spending time with family.
